Mortgage Interest Rates Went Up Again… Should I Wait to Buy?

                             Mortgage interest rates, as reported by  Freddie Mac , have increased over the  last several weeks .  Freddie Mac , along with  Fannie Mae , the  Mortgage Bankers Association  and the  National Association of Realtors,  is calling for mortgage rates to continue to rise over the next four quarters. This has caused some purchasers to lament the fact they may no longer be able to get a rate below 4%. However, we must realize that current rates are still at historic lows. Here is a chart showing the average mortgage interest rate over the last several decades.                               Bottom Line Though you may have missed getting the lowest mortgage rate ever offered, you can still get a better interest rate than your older brother or sister did ten years ago, a lower rate than your parents did twenty years ago, and a better rate than your grandparents did forty years ago. The truth behind "I guarantee to sell your house or I will buy it"

You must have heard the agents ads which say "I guarantee to sell your house or I will buy it".  There is some truth in this statement, but the problem is in fineprint, or the full explanation of what the real estate agent will pay for your home. It is true that they will buy your home, IF you are willing to sell it at their asking price.        Let me explain a little bit more about this gimmick, that the agents are using to trick the sellers, and get into their homes, and get the listings agreements signed.  There are variations of this sales tactic.  Some real estate agent will guarantee to sell it, or buy your home if it doesn't sell in a specified time period, or knock money off if they don’t sell it in a certain period.  Let me tell you the truth,   IT IS A SALES GIMMICK , and it  comes with a catch .  As they say if it seems to be to good to be true, it probably is.
