Most of the people dont know but, Manassas Park is an independent city in the state of Virginia. It is not part of Manassas City, or Prince William county. Manassas Park was incorporated as a town in 1957 and was incorporated as a city in 1975. Its area is 2.6 sq miles

 The city has its school system, police, fire and rescue, and public works system. And also its own social services department.

Living in Manassas Park is very convenient. Its very close to shopping. All the major grocery stores and restaurants are on Liberia and Centerville Rd. And Manassas Park city is right off of these 2 major roads. So whether you are looking for an urgent care, or a grocery store, or someplace to eat, or grab a cup of coffee, its all a few minutes away.

 Manassas Park community center is another convenience right there for your kids. They offer all kinds of programs for the kids and adults, including the after school care. They have senior programs, teenage programs, cooking classes, everything at a very affordable monthly fee for the whole family. a very affordable monthly fee for the whole family.

Manassas Park has a very easy to commute to DC and all the major cities. It has a VRE station, which a few minutes drive for some people and for some who live in Townhomes right on Manassas Dr, its walking distance. Also the bus Omnilink has stops in Manassas Park city. Manassas Park city is off of Route 28, so its easy to get on to I-66 and to 495, and, also onto Prince Williams parkway.  It is ideal location to get to where you want to go.

Manassas Park city school system is one of the 30 best school systems in Virginia. They follow all year round school system, so their summer break is 3 weeks shorter, but have breaks spread out through the school year. It has 4 school. It has two elementary schools, one is from pre-k to 2nd grade, and the second elementary school is from 3rd grade to 5th grade. The middle school id from 5th to 8th grade. The Manassas Park high school is from 9th to 12th grade. They also give out free groceries, to the deserving families of students of Manassas Park students. 
There is also private Christian Academy, for your children, if you choose to send them there.

Real Estate in Manassas Park

The biggest single family homes subdivision is Blooms Crossing. It consists of 4- 6 bedroom Single family homes and is near the Colonal ridge golf course. These homes were built by Richmond homes. There are 783 SFh and 133 townhomes.. 
The community of Belmont Station consists of 306 townhouse homes and can be accessed via West Carondelet Drive. 
 Bloom's Station is located on the eastern most portions of Jan Drive and Matthew Drive as well as all of Luke Drive and Paul Drive
Brandy Court is located on Woodhue Ct., Sandstone Way, Englewood Ct., Sunnyside Ct., and White Pine Drive.
Brandy Station is located on Cartwright Ct., Sandstone Way, Reinecke Ct., Anna Ct., General Way, Union Place and Swann Ct.  All of the previously mentioned streets are located between Conner Drive and Manassas Drive.
The Glen at White Pines is located on Overhill Dr., Woodhue Drive, and White Pine Drive.
The Point at the Park Apartments consist of 350 units which were completed in 2004.  
Manassas Park Station was completed in 2007 and features 65 townhomes, 106 stacked town homes, and 174 condo units.  
Mosby Ridge offers 80 townhouses and 16 condo units.  Each townhouse and condo unit has assigned parking.  Mosby Ridge is located on Mosby Court and Mosby Drive
Mosby Ridge II was completed in 2004 and features 96 townhomes with assigned parking.  
Outlook Condos are located on Medeira Court and Inyo Place.
Stone Ridge II can be accessed by taking Lapaz Court to Burnside Court or Sumter Court.
Apart from the above, Manassas Park city also has a place for its senior community in Park Place Senior apartments. Park Place Senior Apartments offers 148 apartments which are available to citizens age 55 or older.  The apartments and cottages offer a choice of independent, senior living with many amenities.  There are 3 different floor plans .
Live in Manassas Park and enjoy the Parks. Signal Hill water park, Costello Park, other Prince William County parks. They are all nearby. If you like the Malls, go to Manassas Mall, or Fair Oaks mall, which is not that far either. Your kids enjoy the sports, no problem, they can take football, baseball, karate, or any other activity they like. Take part in the yearly festivities like the 5K run, the color run, farmers markets, Trunk or treat in the fall, and many more activities..

More homes in the market, home buyers get more choices!!

Finally there is good news for the home buyers, they can expect more home inventory and this more choices in Fall 2021. In the residential real estate market, trends generally follow a predictable and seasonal pattern. Typically, the number of homes available for sale (or active monthly listings) peaks in the fall. If we look at the active monthly listings for 2021 , we’ll see that the number of homes on the market has increased fairly steadily since spring this year.
